Melanie C. Campos ~ MahTame

GOODBYES ARE SO LONG

Our tears flow to ‘n’ fro
On top of salty brims
Of the waves of the sea

Golden orbs glistening
Like sparkles scattered
About the ocean grand

Wishes and dreams fade
As the horizon turns to
Oranges, pinks, nightfall

Goodbyes are so long
Awaiting for one more
View; one more embrace

A never-ending yearning
Clutches at the heart
Deep within each soul

A groaning of sorrow
A turbulent tidal wave
Slapping on the shore

Emotional turning point
Grappling of memories
To keep them alive forever
