FLOWERS FOR MY MOM
Into thy beauty, walk in its charm
Gardens of love welcome you ‘n’ I
Pick a flower or two; ‘tis not harm
Butterfly fairies encircling on by
A single, old-fashioned pink rose
Stand between white floral vines
Such sweet smells enter thy nose
As green, leafy vine intertwines
Pinkish Roses Of Sharon settle in
Yellow sunflowers mimic the sun
Soothing aroma scents all within
Calm the surroundings has begun
Taken a few and place in green vase
Going to take to my healing mother
‘N’ presents them to please just in case
She’s down and tired while in recover
