A NEVER ENDING TALE
What is strength?
When the tears
Keep streaming
Down my face
You say you see it
I cannot feel a thing
Yet sadness; big time
Floating on dreams
Regrets? NO, never
‘Twas you, my friend
Who believed in me
Seeing things I don’t
Embracing tightly
Questioning of the
What has become
Of the reality of now
Don’t want to let go
Yet dangerous waters
Are being crossed
Daily; Nightly; for you
There were traces
Of a bonded connection
Courage among the
Possibilities of anything
You spoke of keeping strong
How can I when I am
By myself? Again? Why?
Siam’s boat became driftwood
Smidgens of hope caught
In the sunlight of a smile
Only for a midnight hour
Then vanished into the day
I’m too feeble, dear Sir
Weak-kneed beyond repair
Sobs ripple across the sea
A never-ending tale… Of me
