TWO WOLVES ALONE

Two wolves alone,
Cut away from their pack,
On this cold winter day,
Where the warmth is lacking.

They go on a journey,
Searching for their clan,
Their loving family.

Cut away from the pack,
They got lost and afraid;
The world to them seemed so strange.

Two young wolves,
One White, one Black,
Wind in their faces,
Menacing clouds at their backs.

They howl into the night,
Searching, but still not finding,
Their family, their own clan.

Where are they now?
Maybe many miles away,
Searching also for shelter
From the Forever Menacing Cold.

They desperately howl;
The chill is getting colder now.

Suddenly, a sound;
A far and distant howl.

It is their clan, their family;
They finally found them,
Now they are happy.

They follow the sound,
Of the far distant howl,
Soon finding a cave,
This weather of cold,
How they did brave.

Now they are together,
Again.

These two wolves alone,
Not alone ever again.
