NOT WRITING…

Sitting here wondering what to write.

Nothing seems to work,
Nothing wants to rhyme.

Just another case writer’s block.

I know the words will come,
I know the words will rhyme.

Just need some time, to get my thoughts in line,
So that they can sing, so that they can rhyme.

Until they do, these simple words I write.

As I wait for ideas to come,
and I wait for the words to rhyme.
