NIGHT FLIGHT
Spreading its wings for the night time flight
The Pegasus shimmers in the moonlight
Coming at a trot and then to a run
Soon she is flying to the heavens above
You can almost hear her wings
As she flies in the sweet summer air
Sometimes if you look up
You might even see her there
The Pegasus who watches as you sleep
When at night you drift off to dream
She soon touches down folding her wings
Nudging you gently and then you climb on
The midnight run has now begun
She takes you to places that you see in your dreams
She takes you to places some only find in fantasy
As you wake from your nighttime slumber
You remember the ride as to the moon you wandered
