MOONBEAM RIDE REVISITED
Two small shadows in the night,
Waiting for that moonlight ride.
Two tall figures,
Standing solitary,
Watch as the young maiden’s approach.
Time now again,
For that moonbeam ride.
Me on a horse,
Fit for a queen.
You on one –
Just like me.
Wind in our free flowing hair,
Moonlight shining,
On their bright wings glowing.
We ride the clouds;
We touch the sky.
It is now what we longed for,
The moonbeam ride.
We ride alone,
Not looking back.
Still alone,
We do not want to go back.
Figures appear,
In-Groups of four.
Maids on horses,
Maids who long for
The moonbeam ride
That we once took.
The moonbeam ride
We will forever long for.
