MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE?

I hope to, some day, be the person I wish

The wife not just the mother
The person who gets
To see all the joys
There are to the life

Of a housewife
A mother and someday
A midwife

I want a daughter
A sister for you

I want a father
A man you can talk to

I wait for those days
And I hold onto hope

I wash away the stress
With that proverbial soap

I stand at the chance
To do something I like

Can I share this dance?
As a mother and a wife
