LITTLE MAN

Watching you play as I work here online
Not on the internet but on the computer

You ask to see what it is I am doing

I put you in my lap and you get down to it

Asking your questions

What’s this or that?

So many questions
Some answers I lack

We’re learning together and some day

Who knows?

Maybe you will know more
Than your Dad or your Mom

But until then I teach what I can
I answer your questions as best as I can

As you sleep in your bed at night

I rave all about you to my friends on line
They feel so close you’re a part of this family

Maybe someday you’ll have a family
Not just online but in the real world

But until then I continue writings my words
