FORGOTTEN
A forgotten soul,
Lost forever
In times of old.
It is the soul of the People,
who tried to right our wrongs,
For we took their lands,
made their prairies our home.
These people long forgotten,
These long forgotten souls,
They cry to us to heed their wishes
but do we listen?
Sometimes – yes; sometimes – no.
But to learn their ways,
We need to reach into our own souls.
