IF I WERE A GOOSE!

If I were a goose,
I’d come when you feed.
I’d eat all the bread
And surely all the seed!

I’d select a fine mate,
After learning to date,
Would waddle and waddle
And father a gaggle!

I’d be so proud
To father a brood,
And give attention
To mama’s every mood!

I’d teach the young to fly
High up in the sky,
And teach them to honk
When they fly, instead of walk!

If I were a goose,
I wouldn’t turn loose’
Of a leisurely life
With my fine goose wife!
