TRUST

Those who think our soldiers are unfair or unjust
And those who say in us they no longer have our trust.
From the battlefields of Europe, to the white sands of Iraq
So many of our troops have died, to win our countries back.
Visit our war cemeteries, look upon the rows of crosses.
These are but a portion of our military losses.
No, our country isn't perfect, it will never be
But we've been the world's protector
On the land, the air, and sea.
Now gather round us for there are bad times ahead.
Once more the United States will bury our war dead.
We believe the world's worth saving, and sacrifice so much.
We deserve your loyalty, and we deserve your trust.
