A LABOR OF LOVE
Some pieces of wood, with labor of love
become a toy filled with joy
for a young boy close to my heart
and of whom we are a part.
This little guy is the light of my life
and I bid him well in the tests of life.
His name is Alex but he is Tiger to me
for he is fighter in heart and soul.
His first few months was touch and go
Now he is well and full of laughter
hardly stopping his gibberish and chatter.
So this rocker I give to thee
for when you can’t ride upon grandpa’s knee.
Rock in the wind,
explore your world.
We will always be together.
