WILL YOU REMEMBER ME?
I made a decision
I went through bootcamp
Became one of the best
I go into the battle zone
And fight for what is right
Fear me-you better fear me
I am a Marine
Will you remember me?
I took up my rifle without question
I went to a far away land
I looked the devil in the eyes
I protect the weak and the innocent
I am a Soldier
Will you remember me?
I look out for your sons and daughters
I can’t lose my head
Waiting for words
Words that send chills down my spine
Helping my brothers in their time of need
Helping them with their fight
I am their Doc
Will you remember me?
There are many of us
From all different branches of military
But we believe in what we do
We will never back down from a fight
We believe in the cause
And we believe in staying the course
Will you remember me?
When you look at our flag
The red – the white – the blue
Red is for our blood we would gladly give for you
White is for our honor-that is something we will never lose!
Blue is for our bravery-be proud of the courage we show
Will you remember what we have done?
Will you remember those we have lost?
Will you remember those that have been wounded?
Will you remember the cost?
Will you remember me?
All I ask is that you remember me!
