When you hear the sound of thunder
have faith in the wonder
of it all.

Sound frightening and ominous
bringing darkness upon us
with it rain will fall.

Reminding some of distant war
echoing to inner core
of endless night.

Incoming darkness of a kind
that’s anchored in the mind
Flight or fight!

How shall God assuage fears?
If the rain is Angel’s tears
what will dry them?

Dawn’s golden blanket warms
there’s hope beyond the storms
answers there, just try them

So sing with thunder’s song
tears will dry before too long
more than one time.

With Hand of God adjusting
morning comes, be ever trusting
