YOU SHALL BE SILENT
You shall not speak of this again
So better let it go
You shall be silent – and repress
The joy – for you should know
That if you let your spirit out
They’ll only push it back
The more you give the more they take
You’ll end up in the stack
Of those who did not think it through
Who took the time to trust
You’ll see your dreams just blow away
With one big angry gust
Of wind – the hurricane is near
The weather’s turning cool
So keep your whereabouts well hid
And do not play the fool
Or act as if you have a life
‘Cause people steal that too
You’re better off in silent thought
It’s safer there for you
