PRESENCE

Your presence lifts my spirits up
Among the birds I fly
You’re back once more where you belong
And that’s the reason why

I find myself begin to smile
Upon further inspection
I feel myself rejuvenated
I’m drawn towards your direction

You bring yourself, your honesty
Your loving “Col” perspective
I’m glad you’ve come back as you did
Like you – I am selective

And must attend to many things
That take away my time
So it’s a joy to find once more
Your presence and your rhyme
