Fall is sneaking in.
Where do I begin
To admit that I
Have to say goodbye
To the summer day
How do I relay
How this saddens me
It’s so hard to see
Summer on the wane
And I can’t explain
how it seems to go
Don’t begin to know
Different every time
like a seasoned rhyme
did we share enough
Too late to rebuff
what has come to pass
Paying more for gas
Summer had its woes
That’s the way it goes
Fall is sneaking in.
How do I begin?
