WHAT HAPPENED?
Lay me in a pauper's grave when I die,
most of the family don't care where I lie.
Burn my body to ashes dust,
then cast me upon this earth's crust.
Toss what is left into the sea,
or lay me in the dirt,
for the worms' desert,
and forget about me.
What is it I have to do,
too show you I love you.
I helped bring you into this life,
why put me through this strife?
Is it because we raised you?
Did we neglect you?
I don't think so.
Where did we, or was it you,
who lost the love we once knew?
My sons, you make me cry.
