DAD

A dad is a figure head
That we admire and look up to
And try to follow in his foot steps
No matter what we do

He teaches us the proper way
To carry us through our life
So that when we have children
We can teach them to do the same

There are times when we think he’s wrong
And do things our own way
But when we get into strife
He’s always there to help us

Pick up the pieces
And get everything right
Then after dinner
Pray with us at night

So pray for your dad
That GOD may keep him safe
So that when his time comes
He will take him to a place

Where he can look down
And still enjoy the view
Of seeing his grand children
Display a part of you

You are the son of your father
No matter what you say
Because your children will remind you
With every passing day

So carry the knowledge with you
That you are your father’s son
Stand proud and tall and be there
Like your DAD does with every setting Sun
