GOODBYE! FAREWELL!

Goodbye! Farewell! It’s over now
I am leaving you behind.
Finally I’ve found the strength
To clear my tired mind.

Your memory has haunted me.
Many things were left unsaid.
Visions replayed from yesterday
At night when I laid in bed.

There’s nothing you can do again
To cause me sleepless nights.
I won’t accept your misery
Or engage in bitter fights.

No longer can you gain control,
Overpowering my feeble mind.
I’ve learned it’s all right to be me.
That’s taken a very long time.

I was but only a careless sperm
Deep seeded into my Mother.
But God gave me the breath of life
And He is my loving Father.

So goodbye farewell I hope you find
Forgiveness within your heart.
For I have reclaimed my sanity
And I am making a new start.
