IWVPA Policies and Information

Browser and Plug-In Information

Firefox Browser

Get Firefox!Because this site extensively incorporates CSS technology, and is continually in the process of being upgraded to include CSS 2.1 features, I recommend the use of the Firefox 1.5 (or later) browser for optimal viewing enjoyment. To learn more about the Firefox Browser, please click on the Firefox Logo on the right. The browser can be downloaded from the same location.

Internet Explorer 7 Browser

Internet Explorer 7This site is fully compatible with Internet Explorer, version 4 or later but many of the features that are an inbuilt part of the Firefox Browser are not available or are displayed differently on Internet Explorer – even IE6. However, IE7 provides a most acceptable improvement and viewing experience. The latest version of Internet Explorer 7 can be obtained by clicking on the IE7 logo.

Other Browsers

Viewing with some older browsers, including Netscape (particularly Netscape 4) may cause some pages to appear distorted. The site is compatible with most modern browsers including Opera, Avant and Safari.

Screen Resolution

A screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels is suggested as a minimum, and although the site is fully compatible with 800 x 600 screen presentation, a higher resolution is strongly recommended.

Plug-Ins

The use of JavaScript, Flash, and .PDF files is a feature on the site and, although the site is fully navigable without it, I recommend that JavaScript be enabled, and the Flash and Acrobat Reader plug-ins be installed to enhance navigation and viewing enjoyment.
